Mental Health is defined as a state of well being in which an individual realizes his or her own abilities, a state of well-being in which the individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to his or her community. In simpler words, mental health is the state of your mind, emotions, psychological well-being, and social well-being. It has to do with how we feel, how we act, and how we cope with stress in our life.
Mental Health is not still considered as important as physical health by many people due to the stigma that surrounds it which further results to severe conditions which have a huge impact on their life. Depression is the number 1 cause of disability worldwide. Mental health not only disturbs your mind but also has adverse effects on your body and overall health like the weakened immune system, . So, taking care of your mental health should be a must at every stage in your life.
